Holiday makers try Introductuon to SCUBA

We have had many visitors  from China over the Chinese NEW YEAR .  Many have been certified divers but a few have tried the INTRODUCTION to SCUBA  course with boat dive  under direct supervision from trained staff .

Visit from the Spanish Navy

We are always pleased to see a return visit from the Spanish Navy  and were delighted to hear from James  who booked 13 students for  the PADI Open Water diver certification course .
 Issac also got in touch with bookings for the certified divers over several days in port .

  We have been very lucky  to see 2 dive couples become close  diving buddies. Every morning  they were out diving  and together they completed  90 dives .........amazing.!!!!!

Samantha and Mike  revisited us after 25 years ......to the  day of their Seychelles wedding and recaptured the magic of the  Islands of Romance .  Very keen divers and photographers they have sent a selection of some of their photos and memories .
 Glad to say that they  truly enjoyed the diving during their visit  and found it to be better than they remembered

January is repiar and maintenance month

Due to low numbers of divers in late January it is annually the time to do the painting  of all the walls and repairing seats and broken  equipment. Tanks go to Seychelles Bureau of Standards for annual testing and tank valves get serviced .  Keeps us all busy!

Introductory Course class and dive

If you do not have time to do a certification course there is always the one  day INTRODUCTION to SCUBA course and boat dive to the shallow reef with direct supervision from the  Underwater  Center staff .
 Class usually starts around 10.30 am with theory, practical introduction to equipment and  pool training   to be sure of comfort  and ability.
 The afternoon boat dive is 2pm till 4pm and goes to a shallow reef for beginners .

Very popular is the PADI Open Water e learning course . This allows you to do all the theory , quizzes and exams at home before coming to the Seychelles . Plus you can select the language for the home study ....in this case Chinese .
Once in Seychelles you can complete all the water work in a minimum of 2 full days or 3 x 1/2 days
